Phone & Messaging
- Phones are available in select crew areas and can be used in certain home ports.
- Once onboard and connected to the DCL-CREW Wi-Fi network, enables free messaging, voice calls, and video calls through WhatsApp, making it easy to stay in touch with loved ones around the world.
- You may also use your personal cell phone onboard. However, international roaming and usage charges may apply depending on the ship's location. Be sure to check with your mobile provider before you travel.
- To avoid unexpected charges, Disney Cruise Line recommends turning off cellular data while the ship is sailing.
💡 Helpful Tip
Before you set sail, ask your friends and family to download WhatsApp and get it set up so you're ready to connect as soon as you board. Many Crew Members use it every day to message, call, and share photos with family and friends at home.
Internet Access

Internet access is available 24 hours a day on all Disney Cruise Line ships for a reduced fee. Please note: Internet/Wi-Fi package prices are based on the amount of time you use online.
- You may access the internet through computers in the Crew Internet Café or by using your own laptop.

Wi-Fi is available in many crew areas, guest areas, and most crew cabins.
- Some websites and crew resources can be accessed without using personal Wi-Fi minutes. However, you may choose to use Wi-Fi minutes to chat, share pictures, access the web, or simply stay connected.
- Many ports of call also offer free Wi-Fi or internet cafés.

- Connect to Wi-Fi when making WhatsApp calls for the best experience.
- If you plan to video chat with family, try connecting during quieter times when internet speeds may be better.
- Download movies, music, or podcasts before joining the ship to help save Wi-Fi minutes.
- You can send and receive mail directly from the ship.
- Once onboard, visit the Crew Office to get your ship's mailing address.
- Mailing labels and stamps are available through the Crew Office.

If family or friends plan to send you mail, share your ship's mailing address with them after you arrive onboard.
