Whether you are starting your contract onboard the ship, in the Bahamas, or in Toronto, it is important you are prepared. Please ensure you review the following information and contact us if you have any questions.
Crew Members will be required to follow all health and safety protocols. Based on guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we have implemented multiple layers of health and safety protocols and have capabilities to manage cases that may occur on board.
Health Screenings
Crew Members may undergo periodic health screenings while onboard.
Vaccines and Booster Requirements
• Flu vaccine: As a condition of employment, all shipboard Crew will receive an Influenza or flu vaccination upon embarkation, as needed, during flu season (generally September – March). If you have already received a flu vaccine for this season, please bring documentation from a physician, clinic or pharmacy to provide to the Medical Center or the Island Nurse.
COVID-19 Vaccine Resources
• The COVID-19 vaccination is not required as a condition of employment.
In line with the continued guidance of the CDC, it is recommended that all crew members are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and remain up to date with the latest booster.
According to the U.S. CDC and the World Health Organization (WHO), COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective in preventing severe illness from COVID-19.
