All crew members, regardless of position, must possess a valid STCW Personal Survival Techniques (PST)certification.

If you do not already possess a valid PST certificate, your mandatory PST training is scheduled shoreside the day after your arrival, unless otherwise instructed.

It is recommended to wear a bathing suit underneath your clothing if you have one.

Bus departs at 7:15 AM from the hotel.

Transportation for PST will leave promptly at 07:15 AM from the hotel. It is important to be on time for the bus pick-up; please do not be late.

If PST is missed, you will be unable to embark as scheduled and will be required to return home.

PST training will typically take place the first 2 days after you arrive. Please refer to your “welcome aboard” email if you have any questions.​

Please bring a towel, swimwear, closed toe shoes that can get wet (to enter the water) and sun block with you for both days of the PST Training. ​

Lunch will be provided for you at the training facility.
